  • Thanks Oprah

By Deborah, 4 hours 40 minutes ago

Oprah, thanks for blessing Bolivar, Missouri.  They are in a county that usually misses out because the rich folks in Greene County usually get all the good stuff.  I used to marvel at how when you left Greene County and headed towards Bolivar, suddenly the streets were no longer paved…

  • What goes on

By Deborah, 5 hours 34 minutes ago

Another weird thing that used to happen when I worked as a nurses aide was some of the girls kept showing up with large plastic bags from the college bookstore.  I don't know what that was all about.  I don't know if they were stealing books or what was going on.  This… Read More »

  • Thank You Saint Matthew's

By Deborah, on Sun Nov 22, 2009 9:41am PST

I want to thank my dear friends at Saint Matthew's Churches.  Their letters and words to me are like a spring of water in a dry parched land.  When others judge, they give life and help.  When others tear down, they build up.  I am so thankful that the Lord has lead me to… Read More »

  • Doing the Right Thing

By Deborah, on Sun Nov 22, 2009 6:58am PST

Good Sunday Morning, everybody,    I just thought I'd share with you an interesting word I received through the mail from my dear cousin, Sandra Wilmot, who is the only person I know who sends me a card for every occasion you can think of. (I just received my Thanksgiving Day Card… Read More »

  • My Church Attendance Plans

By Deborah, on Sun Nov 22, 2009 1:11am PST

Hi y'all,   Its close to 3 AM here in Cave Springs, Missouri.  I napped quite a bit yesterday so here I am wide awake in the middle of the night.  I've taken a hiatus from the local church for a few months, but I think I am about ready to plunge into regular… Read More »

About This Author

Hello Everyone, I am a mother of two teenagers. My daughter is quite the socialite. She has a circle of very interesting "goth-like" friends. They are good kids though strange looking. My son is a mentally challenged 17 year old. He takes a little extra work, but he's a good kid. I go to a rockin' church called Northpoint. Its totally amazing. Young Hip and on target! I struggle with my weight, and I have hit the fearsome big 5-0. Its kind of creepy thinking about getting old.
