When I agreed to attend celebrity dance trainer Jaana Kunitz's fitness demo, I expected to sit back, relax, watch her demonstrate moves and listen to work-out tips. As a girl with a quick metabolism, I've basically weighed the same since I hit puberty. As you may know from my introductory blog (hooray!), it wasn't until this past year that I really dug my teeth into fitness. One day, after about a month of weight training, I stepped on the scale and stared down at the number--surely I must have lost weight; I looked so much thinner! Nope. I had gained weight. 7 pounds of weight! Suddenly, my newfound confidence flew out the window. I knew that I wasn't fat, and knew that I had gained weight because of muscle gain, but I instantly became fixated on my weight. Read More »

Saturday we celebrated Halloween at our house. We had tons of friends and tons of festive food (including little hot dog mummies). It was so much fun! But by the end of the night, I also had a HUGE mess on my hands. That's why I spent the majority of my Sunday scrubbing my house clean. Read More »

Every time I get dressed for the gym I am faced with my own personal Sophie's choice: Do I wear comfy briefs under my spandex and just make peace with my unsightly panty lines or do I spend my workout pulling and tugging at a thong to present a more pleasing rear view? Now my problem is solved!
Zobha's amazing thin and seamless Boyshort Panty has changed my life! I need not pull, tug nor sacrifice my dignity. And the super-soft fabric is out of this world! I actually started wearing them under slinky dresses too. Try them out. I promise you will LOVE them.

Could a tiny coil hiding in the heels of these sneaks make you run like the wind? These Spira sneakers might have metal springs built inside the heel, but they're a far cry from the Moon Shoes of our childhood. These springs in these kicks wont send you flying into zero gravity, but they do boast an 87% return in energy. That means that for every step you take; the springs absorb and return 87% of your effort, cinching recovery time. The springs also reduce 20 percent of the impact on your body every time you slip them on so you can say goodbye to aches and hello to the open road.
