About This Author
I've accomplished almost everything I've wanted to do in life (for the most part) so I'm fairly content with things, I'm an optimist, financially secure, happy with my life (would like to see my kids more though) but have two great dogs to keep me company. Have learned to do without certain material things I would like to have but realize the times are a little rough right now and don't want to suffer by overloading on things I don't need right now. Too many younger people are trying to compete with their friends and neighbors by buying those huge homes and SUVs and only to loose them. Our problems in this Country stem from all the foolish spending we are all guilty of and then we blame the government and expect them to bail us out....... if we would all learn to live smart and within our needs we wouldn't have these problems.
I also believe we need a STRONG candidate in the White House...... someone who is experienced in foreign policy and the economy. Someone who is in the race not for personal gain but who is running for the better of our country. Our mission in Iraq is quite serious and to pull out our troops would be devastating to our economy and to the rest of the world because it would show that we are so divided among our leaders and that we can't decide what we want to do anymore on the fight on terrorism. This mission has sacrificed 1/10 of the causalities compared to that of the Viet Nam conflict. JFK had NO BUSINESS sending troops over there yet he was the hero and Nixon whom ended the war was condemned..... GO FIGURE........ We have a reason being in Iraq and although it hasn't been a smooth trail. We must not wave the white flag to terrorism like the Obama wants to do. We MUST complete our mission. Senator John McCain is not a third term GWB he has had many ideas that were totally different than our current administration. The Dems want you to believe this is not true but in reality John McCain is the CHANGE we need. Hopefully enough of the "baby boomer generation" voters will see the forest through the trees and make the right choice in our upcoming election. The younger people believe that "CHANGE" is something new in politics. Its been used after every two term commitment. They have yet to see the whole picture and believe that Obama has the answers....... after all, who knew of Obama prior to his running for candidacy........
Hopefully their will be enough voters to override all of this foolishness. Oh, and free universal health care? You had better study that one...... NOTHING in life is free. Wait for that to kick in full force. Our property taxes, income taxes and personal taxes will sky rocket out of site to accommodate this FREE health care. Also, see what Wall Street thinks about having Obama as president.......
If you are voting for personal reasons stay home..... If you are voting for whats best for the country go VOTE! The country will turn around and benefit all of us if we make the right choices........
