Maybe it's considered bad luck if the person you want to be
with (at least, you THINK you want to be with them) logs off of the
messanger after you ask them what's up with them and avoids all
things with you, but I have dealt with this rejection a lot in the
past two years, so I don't let it bother me anymore. Besides, I
have exciting news as of 8:30 this morning: After a loooooong
weekend of having to deal with over- sugared siblings and two days
of pizza, I have found out that, while I didn't lose a single
ounce, I also didn't gain anything, either! GO, me! I have also
realized that I enjoy weight- lifting this week. It makes me feel
like everything is at least 8 pounds lighter, even though I'm
only lifting a 5 lbs. weight. I do as many reps as I can fit in
without doing them wrong and without harming myself within the
course of a song, and once I've completely exhausted a certain
part of my arm or the song is over, I switch to another arm- muscle
group, then eventually the other arm. I have deliberately timed
about 17 songs and placed them on a cd so that they are about the
same time length, there resulting in each muscle getting the same
amount of time to work. Even though I have only recieved support
from one person, who has only written 1 comment since my trek about
a month ago started, I will continue to update on my progress so
that I stay motivated. I may have won this battle, but the next one
is sure to be more difficult: THANKSGIVING! I have three weeks
about to prepare for this delicious (and diet- wrecking) attack on
my waist. wish me luck!

Report AbuseGood Luck; Turkey Day is always a challenge.
and P.S. Don't waste your time on people who are not polite enough to acknowledge your reaching out to them. I know that's also a challenge.
