Are they insane or is it me?

Do you have psycho friends? And when I say "psycho" I don't mean "Hey lets dance to this awesome CD while everyone is watching", I mean "I am God, if its not purple it needs to be painted that way, sometimes I cut myself because I'm bored, I'm such a masochist I hang out with a egotistical verbal abuser that I'm in love with". 

    Lately I've noticed that the majority of my friends are either annoying or beginning to go crazy or are so completely insane that I'm actually debating on whether or not I should call a medical professional. Take for example Luna (note that all names have been changed due to the fact that I don't want to be horribly maimed by said psychopaths). Luna is so messed up its not even funny. In the two years that I've known her she has done nothing but cause trouble and drama. When I first noticed this she was dating Fitz. Fitz is a very old fashioned guy. He's a gentleman and one of the few nice guys on this planet. He hadn't dated in a while when he met Luna so he didn't know what he was getting into.
 
  Luna is a flirt. While they were dating she flirted with Rick. Rick is the egotistical verbal abuser with a God complex. Any time when the three of them were together, Rick and Fitz would automatically shift into defense mode and glare at each other until they were pulled into conversation with someone. You could tell that they hated each other, but Luna kept hanging out with Rick and flirted with him.But whenever the question "Hey who do you want?" came up, Luna just went on a weepy outburst on how she loved Fitz and Rick the same and she didn't know who to pick. Well this made Fitz really upset because she didn't say that she loved him more since she had been going out with him for six months, but he still stayed with her hoping that she would gain some sanity. Then there was prom. Luna went on and on how she didn't want to go our school prom, but that she wanted to go to her home town prom instead. After many, many, many hours of persuading her to go Fitz and Luna compromised on going to prom but that they would go in old Victorian outfits instead of the normal tux and dress.

While all this was going on my friend (the only sane one) Hayden and I didn't really want to go to prom. But Rick would not have this. He told us how horrible we were because we didn't want to go to prom. That we we're wasting our high school experience that some many people wished they would have. To shut him up Hayden and I went to prom together, hating it the entire the time. Rick tried to take control of prom. He kept on trying to get Hayden and me to dance, but when all the songs are crappy ghetto dance songs you wouldn't want to do it either. When we resisted he threw a fit and pouted the rest of the night, lashing at Fitz every chance he got. I had to help calm Fitz down so he wouldn't kill Rick and Luna said nothing about the act. 

After eight months of having to deal with Luna, Fitz finally broke up with her. You would think with Fitz gone that Luna would move on and go to Rick. This is not true. She went on and on about how she was still in love with Fitz but she loved Rick too. In the end (an accumulative amount of three weeks) Rick and Luna dated...for two weeks. They broke up because Luna thought that Fitz wanted to still date her only it turned out to be a prank that someone played on her. Rick wasn't happy about this.

Luna felt bad for this but she wanted to date Rick still. Rick constantly berated her and called her names and was a total jerk to her and yet she still like him. In the past few months Luna made an account on a website that Rick was on. She wanted to see if Rick still liked her, so she withheld her name but gave the rest of her personal information. After knowing each other online for about a week Rick informed his cyber-girl he was "in love" with her. Oh and did I mention that his e-mails to her were in old english and her e-mails were all in rhyme?

After three months of this Luna revealed who she was and Rick denied all the things he told her.

I wrote this to finally vent all my frustrations of having to deal with this everyday, and to ask does everybody act this psycho or is it just me?
