Chapter 4.
I woke up with a vibration.
I slid my hand down my pocket and looked at my phone.
It was Eight….
I quickly got up and grabbed my machete.
Trying to determine what vibration woke me up if it wasn’t my phone.
I felt it again.
Only it was low pitched, and kept its pace.
It kept getting more and more intense.
Kind of like a stampede.
I knew what it was.
It WAS a stampede.
I obviously stayed in the same spot long enough for them to catch my scent.
I quickly put my machete behind my back and grabbed my magnum.
It was getting more and more intense.
I ran out of the market and turned to my right.
There had to be hundreds of them.
Running right towards me.
I let off a few shots.
Hit maybe one or two of them.
I wanted to kill them all…So much.
But The smart thing to do was to quickly get in my car and drive off.
My revenge won.
I got in my car, put on my seatbelt, and started it.
I backed the car up and turned it so it faced all of them.
Take this you evil f--- in’ devils.
I slammed on the gas and the car was going straight into the crowd.
I put my head down.
Clutched the steering wheel.
And ran straight into the crowd.
I hit one…
Then two…
Then three….
I lost count.
My car shook.
My windshield cracked.
I felt like I was going to explode.
It finally all stopped.
And I looked behind me.
And I hit….SO many of them.
Even though it didn’t kill all of them.
I still took off a lot of legs.
And Heads…
Either way, It satisfied me.
I smiled.
Big.
Nodding my head up and down.
Like I was f------ king of the world.
It felt good.
My cockiness was soon interrupted by sounds my car was making…
I obviously messed something up…
You idiot! Why the hell did I do that?!
I swore at myself…
It took you months to find the perfect car to drive in and feel safe in!
I finally realized there is no need to regret it.
Its already done with.
I tried to think of what I could do…
The car just slowly came to a stop.
Battery was dead.
Something really was wrong with it.
And then I saw some sort of salvation.
Is this my only choice…?
I put my hand over my face…
Got out of the car.
And walked over to this small machine.
And stood over it.
Got on it…
And…Got kind of thrilled by it…
It was a 2016 Yamaha Motor Bike.
Brand new.
Big Headlights.
Brand new thick tires.
Slick Black color, Which means I might be able to travel at night.
A big exhaust which means less noise.
And best of all.
Keys were in the ignition.
I decided to take it.
I walked back to my car and took the flashlight.
And the few bottles of water I had left in it.
There was no food left in the car…
I didn’t have time to restock…
I’ll be okay for another day.
I thought to myself.
And walked back to the bike and put the light and water under the seat.
Got on it.
Started it.
It started smoothly.
Full of gas.
I got back on the highway.
Towards Florida.
And started driving.
