McCain Blocks The FCC From Enacting New Net Neutrality Rules

With a move that resembles how Chinese Government is run, John McCain, (decides if he can't beat the socialist Democrats he might as well join them), on Thursday introduced the Internet Freedom Act, which would keep the FCC from enacting rules prohibiting broadband providers from selectively blocking or slowing Internet content and applications. Net neutrality rules would create "onerous federal regulation," McCain said. "Today I'm pleased to introduce the Internet Freedom Act of 2009 that will keep the Internet free from government control and regulation," McCain said. "It will allow for continued innovation that will in turn create more high-paying jobs for the millions of Americans who are out of work or seeking new employment. Keeping businesses free from oppressive regulations is the best stimulus for the current economy."

Senator McCain knows this stifles Internet knowledge from being shared openly through torrent type software. And just like most Republicans he's, (faking left and going right), claiming less government when in reality he's creating more government control with typical John McCain politics.

Kazza, Limewire, MP3Rocket, and BitTorrent are just a few of the many software programs that Senator McCain is trying to put a lid on with tax payer money. So, basically he's using your own money to allow your Internet provider to ground you in the name of big business. And this will allow your Internet provider to govern what you do online.

Does McCain actualy believe this will improve his approval rating?

How much of a kick back is he getting?

Hopefully the democrats realize that it's not a problem they can solve, open source can't be contained when you have a world filled with hackers and crackers. And McCains lack of info is what should be discussed here in comments. BitTorrent is an Open Source Torrent Engine that is free, ya that's no cost for the software developer, hence the term "open source."
