Mourning

user

This week just keeps on getting more and more horrible. Monday, our day off, there was an out of town football game. One of our students tackled somebody from the opposing team, and collapsed. He was rushed to the hospital and was diagnosed with a brain hemorrhage. Tuesday was the day everybody learned about this. Many people started crying. He already had surgery by then, and was in critical condition. Even our teachers were crying. There were many SACs at school all week, and we were all told to talk to them. The football team was crying. Many Get Well cards were going around to get signed. I was able to sign two of them. Last night, he was taken off life support. It was too unlikely he would make it, and if he did he would have brain damage. I knew he would die I just didn't think he would die so quickly. I found out on facebook, and contacted all of my friends. Even though I knew he wouldn't make it, it was still so shocking. It sucked, because I needed to be the one to tell Boy number Three (from my other posts) about the death. Boy number Three and this boy who died were friends since they were 3 years old. I can't even imagine what it must be like to lose a friend of that many years. Everybody was freaking out. They still are. He was only 16. So young. The girl he went to prom last year, who is now in college, found out on facebook, and she is really upset. My friend isn't doing well, because she is now dealing with two deaths in one week. Today, we were all signing banners, and we had a moment of silence. For two periods, my class was allowed to roam around the halls together, just to cry. Many people spoke to the SACs. My friends and I ate the free cookies, and just comforted each other in the halls. When the day ended, there were already two news trucks. This story has been on the news all week, they're going to need to close the story. Too bad it's such a sad story to tell.

I did hear this on the news here in Alabama. So sorry for your loss! Just remember, "If God brought you to it, he will bring you through it." Take care.
