Put on your to-do list: Mother-daughter matching days

The whole Obama family volunteered at the United We Serve charity event yesterday where they  helped fill 10,000 backpacks for children of military men and women. So wonderful!

Another cute thing I noticed: First lady Michelle and daughter Sasha were dressed in matching outfits. Both mom and daughter wore aqua capris, casual sneakers and yellow tops.

I can remember my mom planning a few dress alike days with me as a child and I thought it was so cool! Once we both denim skirts and white button down shirts and similar matching sandals. She took me out to lunch and to run errands with her, and everywhere we went people commented about our matching outfits. I loved it! It's such a simple activity that a mom and daughter can both really enjoy. I suppose fathers and sons could try it too.

Have you ever tried wearing matching outfits with your kid? [Huff Post]

It can be fun for mothers and daughters but I find it quite funny for fathers and sons to do it.
