Do You Always Wear Your Wedding Band? And Does Your Guy?

On a recent appearance at The View, Joy Behar called out Ivanka Trump for not wearing her wedding ring. Ivanka responded: "I was engaged for three months and then I've been married around eight days, so it's sitting on my bedside table. I forget about the hardware." Do you always wear your wedding band and engagement rings? And does your guy?

I don't think it's unusual that Ivanka forgot to wear her wedding ring. Some days, I'll forget to put mine on, too, especially if I'm running late. I do feel a little naked without it, but I don't think it's that uncommon to forget. In the video, Sherri Shepherd asks her if Ivanka sleeps in them, but that seems so uncomfortable. I don't sleep in any of my jewelry...do you?

Drew on the other hand never takes off his wedding band! He sleeps in it, showers in it and puts gel in his hair while wearing it! I would hate it if soap and hair gel got under my ring, but I haven't say anything to him because I'm scared that I'll mention it and then he'll take it off and lose it!

Do you always wear your wedding band and engagement rings? And does your guy? Do you think it was weird that Ivanka forgot to wear her ring so soon after her wedding?

P.S. What kind of wedding band would you want? Do you want to help pick out your engagement ring? And what's your dream ring?

I can't wear mine right now because my fingers are fat from pregnancy - but typically I do not sleep in my rings, or work out with them on. And if I don't wear them, then oops, I know in my heart and mind I'm married. My husband does not wear his band all the time, and it doesn't bother me. Rings don't represent marriage, it's how you feel and act. I've seen people cheat while wearing their rings. They must not be proper reminders of faithfulness.

I wear mine most of the time when I am out of the house (except at the gym). Once I am home it comes off. My husband wears his sometimes. He doesn't like jewelry, so I am fine with it. I trust him.

I wear mine constantly now. When I first got it I would take it off to keep it clean from my everyday activities. My husband jeweler asked me why I did that. Then he said what if the house were burning. Wouldn't you want the ring on your finger rather than by your bedside? Now I keep it on my finger and only take it off to clean it or when I'm cooking with raw meat.

I have a diamond ring that my mom gave me for my 21st birthday and I wear on my right hand. I leave it on 95% of the time, sleep in it, shower in it. It is yellow gold, so if I am wearing silver jewelry I will remove it and put something else on. It has been over 10 years and I actually feel awkward if I don't have it on.

I always wear my engagement ring... and only take it off if I am using harsh cleaning detergants or doing something really messy like carving pumpkins. I dont want to take the chance of losing it, and I feel like it tells the whole world that I have a man in my life who I love unconditionally. I dont get how people can just leave it on the nightstand... arent you afraid that you may accidently knock it off, or if youre like me and have kids, maybe one of your children will grab it and flush it down the toilet? Yikes... Id die if I lost it!

I wear mine all the time, my husband wont let me forget, My husband is not able to wear his because it was lost when we moved, his weight fluctuated since we got married almost 9 years ago, and he took it off to pack we never found it since. He wants me to get him a new one which I am still thinking about it.He loved his ring, he almost cried when he foung out that it was lost. Every anniversary since he thinks that he is getting his ring as a gift. I feel bad but I need to get the ring designed and I just dont have the money for it right now.

Jewelry is beautiful, but wedding ring or not, it is a hassle showering and sleeping, so I don't think anything wrong if you take it off.

My hubby wears his band more than I wear my engagement/wedding ring. Neither of us are big on jewelry (we don't wear watches either) and we don't wear ours to bed or while showering either. I hate when mine gets dirty and there are plenty of little crevices for dirt to go, so that's another reason why I don't wear mine a lot.
