Four Wedding Dresses Under $100

The Thread has brought you every other look on the cheap, so why not the dress for your big day? The new getting-hitched philosophy is: splurge on the honeymoon and save on the wedding.  We've found 4 beautiful wedding dresses -- all for under $100!

Dress #1
Empire-waist chiffon gown from David's Bridal, $99.00

Empire-waist chiffon gown from David's Bridal, $99.00

Perfect for a beach wedding, this flowy chiffon empire-waist dress (right) is flattering, romantic and will look stunning when caught in a light ocean breeze. We'd wear it with bare feet, long mermaid waves, and a homemade flower wreath in our hair.

Dress #2
We love the elegant simplicity of this beautifully-constructed bustier-style tank dress (below), and envision it at an urban minimalist wedding -- surrounded by white painted exposed-brick walls, floor-to-ceiling multi-pane windows, and worn with a killer pair of platform heels and a single piece of statement jewelry. Or the bride could wear it to tie the knot at -- in our opinion -- one of the most romantic places to take the plunge: City Hall.

Dress #3
This sweetheart neckline halter dress (right) with flirty hem screams Hollywood Glamour. At an over-the-top glitzy night-time wedding -- think Big Band, chandeliers, white table linens, and horse-drawn carriages -- we'd wear this dress with finger waves, red lipstick, a vintage rhinestone hairpin tucked behind our ear, and satin peep-toe slingback heels.

Strapless A-line dress from Dillard's, $70.00

Dress #4

For a garden party-style outdoor afternoon wedding, on a rolling hill with painted-white wooden chairs and paper lanterns hanging from trees, we'd wear this light and airy frock with '50-style A-line silhouette for our walk down the aisle. The bride should accessorize this cotton-eyelet dress with a sleek, but flippy Jackie O-inspired blowout, hair parted on the side, of course, and glowy make-up in a pink palette.

Dress 1 would be a perfect wedding dress! The others are too immature looking for my taste.
