Walking on Stiletto High Heeled Shoes...?

I have trouble walking smoothly on very high heeled shoes and find that I have to practice quite a bit to walk smoothly. I find that walking outside and videoing give good feed back on how well you are doing - see above.

If I can't do that watching in a mirror is helpful, but you only get a few steps and you're right up to the mirror.

Anyway I was wondering if anyone else actually practices walking on high heels, and any other tips about walking on high heeled shoes......THX
