I had the pleasure over the weekend to visit a new exhibit at the Gallery of BC Ceramics of two of my most favorite potters here in Vancouver (and the world, for that matter), Laura McKibbon and Jasna Sokolovic. I have a new love.
And by love, I mean a place to go to wile away the hours that captures
my imagination, that is filled with pretty colors, oddities, and
cheerful patterns. And by new, I mean a store that everyone
but me has apparently known about for years. Late to the party... Read More »- Let’s talk: Comment (4) | Blog

These tonal, hand-painted ceramics from set-designer-by-day Michelle Antonisse caught my eye at the inaugural Brooklyn Flea last weekend, so I tracked her down to ask her a few questions about her work. She's been producing the line for about two years and notes that her designs are... Read More »- Let’s talk: Comment (7) | Blog
